We are committed to making Greensboro a city where young adults yearn to live and work. You’ll want to get engaged in our free social opportunities that also serve to inform leadership decisions regarding the city’s future.
In an increasingly knowledge-based global economy, our work supports local K-12 schools and higher education to ensure our children develop as leaders who can seamlessly connect to the area’s future economy.
The third largest city in North Carolina, Greensboro is centrally located between the mountains and the beach. It’s a welcoming place where you’ll find plenty of opportunities to make new friends while you work, play, learn and connect.
Through a number of foundations and the business community, Action Greensboro supports unique initiatives that make our beautiful city even more attractive. We enhance what is best in Greensboro by championing strong education, beautiful parks and greenways and networking opportunities for young adults.

Greensboro Partnership Annual Dinner
Thursday, January 29, 2015
The Annual Dinner is the Greensboro Partnership's premier event, which brings together business and civic leaders from a wide variety of organizations and companies. It is an opportunity to start the New Year with fellow community members as we reflect on the progress our community has made and the developments that have occurred through collaborative action. In addition, we recognize the achievements and contributions of business and community leaders through the presentation of the ATHENA Leadership, the Thomas Z. Osborne and the O.Henry awards. In 2014, North Carolina Governor Pat McCrory shared accomplishments at the state level during 2013 and his vision for the state of North Carolina for 2014 and beyond.
The Greensboro Partnership Entrepreneur Connection encourages and supports an expanding pipeline of innovation, the formation and growth of high-potential emerging businesses and a vibrant entrepreneurial community.
We provide access to the capital, mentors, networks, and resources that entrepreneurial companies need at all stages of their development.
The Greensboro Partnership Economic Development (GPED) is dedicated to seeking out specific kinds of companies that find a prospective relationship with Greensboro mutually beneficial. We identify these companies and assist with educating them on the opportunities and benefits that Greensboro holds for their businesses and their employees.
